Only one block away from campus, this home needed total home renovation. There were previous generations of owners who did poor work. From electrical, plumbing, and heating and air, to a radically altered floor plan, we remodeled this home inside and out.

Here is the view from the street. Neighbors are happy to see that we kept the "40's cottage" look of the neighborhood, instead of "McMansionizing" - building a home that dwarfs its neighbors and looks out-of-place.

Older floor plans often have many small rooms. Today, most homeowners prefer an open floor plan, which is better suited for parties, and entertaining guests. We removed some walls and the floor plan flows nicely now. This remodeled living room is no longer cramped and stuffy.
